Fun Facts: His mother committed suicide when he was just 14 years old, he worked as a wallpaper designer before he began painting full time, he nearly ended his career in 1948 when he created 37 intentionally bad paintings as a rebellion against the ideals of art and good taste, and in the 1960's many of his works were reproduced on the album covers of famous musicians.
