Use your favorite search engine to search for art walks and galleries in your community, review the submission guidelines and submit your best work.
Look for alternative exhibition spaces, artists often hang and sell works for free in banks, churches, libraries, coffee shops, bakeries, restaurants, even shoe stores. Showing in spaces like these can lead to sales as well as other opportunities such as mainstream gallery representation.
