A Rainy Day, but Invisible
Observation
by Whitney

Today it's rainy outside. As I look out to the birdfeeders, I see all the birds are gone. The sky is a solid shade of gray. The driveway is glassy looking and I hear the swishing sound of tires against the wet pavement. I see a person running through the rain, with glassy looking shoulders. She is covering her head with her hands, and now her hands are glassy looking too. The cat runs for shelter, afraid of getting its fur wet. I turn around and see a comfortable kitchen. At the kitchen window I see a girl standing there looking out at the wet nasty day outside. I wave at her, but she does not see me.
