What of My Ghostly Lover?

I was only a boy when she came, and still to this day. I voyage
to the Baron Hill on each night of the full moon. I have kept her my own
personal treasure under lock and key for years now. The fear I feel is
created by the mystery of her being. My interest in her is what draws
me to this spot.
I want not nor cannot resist. Why am I unable to resolve the
confusion of my own conscience? I ask my self out loud. Because you do
not wish to, my faithful lover replies.
I jumped. There beside me was the figure of my attractive young
concubine. I could only stare at her. She smiled back. She wore the long
flowing hair, bound back by no more than a fillet, and a single long
dress of the ordinary unmarried girl. But she was far from ordinary!
Her eyes seemed golden, glowing like tiny disks of the sun, and the
contours of her body thrust against the silken cloth of her garment, but this woman was more than that
physically and emotionally.
I am sent to you on this night to again to corrupt you!
She said. As you always will! I replied.
I could feel the static in my aura increase as she walked closer to
me. I am here to hold you only a moment, for on this night my time
hinders me from lying with you in the grasses. She spoke quietly.
I will retire my sadness for my awareness is most important.
She finished.
My heart felt numb, but without sadness as I was overjoyed to just
look at her smile, and hear her voice.
Before I could tell her with my body of my desires she was gone.
For another duration or not. I am kept prisoner, wondering and waiting
for the moon in full too bring the night I am to know.
Stand in my shoes and feel my losses. What of my ghostly lover?
