Memories of Betrayal
Poem
by A M Kraft
Your memory haunts me
day and night.
Your smile, your face,
your color of hair.
A glimmer of hope,
the thought of your touch.
The memory of missing
you oh so much.
The memory's a nightmare
a horrifying reality.
Of the bitch that you were
and prob'ly still are.
The snakes writhe and twist
wrapping around you so tight.
Freud's little message
that nothing's quite right.
Betrayer of daughter,
mother of none.
Your memory is faded,
and now we are done.
