If Living was an Option
Poem
by Roxanne Varden

If living was an option,
I would choose death.
Because eternal sleep,
Is painless compared to my every breath.
Life shows me no pleasure,
Just presents me with tears.
I have no strength,
And nowhere to cast my fears.
So if living was an option,
Death would be my choice.
For i am nobody and have nothing to rejoice.
