Stranded in the dust
Alone I stand
Glimpsing around
To find someone to care
An overwhelming amount
of stress
corrupting my body
Making my head spin
And chest
feel like I'm dying
The bad that was
The good to come
Are my everday prayers
Of seeing the sun
Shine so brightly
In the sky above
We have so much to be thankful for
And so many treasures to love.
