Poem
Stacy Ingram

By the window, she sits alone
gazing towards the sky
thinking and wishing,
wanting so much to fly.

The sun begins to set
the sky turns pink
the stars twinkle through
she doesn't want to sink.

The moonlight glimmers softly
in the velvet black sky
she feels so light and free
as she starts to fly.
