Fat Cat
Song
by Bryce Lagimodiere

Ordaining war for commoners to fight.
What gives them the God-damn right?
Fat cat politicians embellishing in the best,
Leaving nothing for poor soldiers, nothing for the rest.
Bellies up in ivory towers,
Regarding the people with nothing but scours.
Picking fights for their advance,
No one else has a chance.
Fancy cars, clothes and dwellings;
Steadily the soldiers march on not withstanding,
Gun shot victims trudging through waste,
oh, but the politician conscripts with haste!
To the aristocrats delight they gain and procure,
as the rich become richer the poor become poorer.
So why does it happen time after time?
To them, it's not half as bad as losing a dime.
They hold the hands that threaten doom.
Who make the earth rumble boom after boom.
They are so assiduous at causing war.
It's obscure why they use their wits to cause gore;
Using the people so they can cower.
Investing people's lives in their hands of empower.
They are the cause of lots of Earth's trouble.
Deep inside, hopefully their hearts burn and bubble!
Senseless death is ours to muse;
Like innocent to the gallows to hang from a noose.
Their poignant apologies will be sadly oppressed,
When they realize that our world is a mess!
Good hearts try to veer from this hate,
But the FAT CAT only comes back for a second plate!
