Woman
Jennifer Hardin

I've been told the devils gleam runs rampant in my eyes.
I've also heard that such a sparkle compares only to the skies.

I've been told that my mouth is vulgar, but spreads laughter when it parts.
I've also heard that from these lips come warmth that captures hearts.

I've been told my legs are tempting, therefore wrong.
I've also heard that my beauty lies in the way I stand so strong.

I've been told you can't resist the part that's willing, warm, and wet.
I've also heard that once you've fed from the fruit of love, it's a taste you can't forget.

I've been told that I am bad,
and have heard that I am good.

That's just the way it goes.
From the top of my helter skelter mind to my bare footed little toes.

I know who I am.
I am Woman.
