Would You?
Poem
by Bryan Lee Brewster
If you could feel just how I feel would you hang on, would you stand
still?
Would you trudge through? Would you feel ill?
Would you believe your heart would heal?
Would you find strength to face the day? Would it be easier to turn
away?
Would you ask for help would you kneel and pray? Would you believe you
were okay?
Would you write your thoughts to share your pain?
Would you hang on to gloom? Would you bear the strain?
Would your heart stop beating if only for a moment?
Would you buckle underneath all the pressures?
Would you wait patiently for heaven's treasures?
Would you have faith without a doubt?
Would you find water throughout your drought?
Would you feel better if you had died?
Would you believe? God will provide.
