Graveyard
Poem
by Raven Black

Emotions and thoughts as dark as the night. Orange clouds masking the moonlight.

It is here that I come to have my depressions released. The only place I have left for peace.

The graveyard is quiet; a sorrowful painting of the end. Bodies packed side by side; by a stranger, family, or a friend.

Their lifeless corpses in cold, damp graves. Some are labelled "Here lies one who is saved."

The only remains of these long since dead Are large carved stones, placed at their head.

The headstones are covered with moss, ivy and grime. Worn gradually away by the decayers of time.

So here I am, staring forever down. Long and deep into, the restful underground.
