Of Life and Death
Poem
by Diana de Hoyos

From the moment we are born we start to die, there's no answer to the question yet we still ask why.

Why are we here? What does this mean?

Like searching for something that cant be seen.

What is the truth? Which are the lies?

WE ALL MUST KNOW BEFORE WE DIE!

With every passing second we are closer to death, with the smell of decay in our every breath.

"All things must come to an end" a saying most people cannot comprehend, living our lives with so much weight on our backs, with so little time to fix the things that we lack, no knowing what liberation death would bring, just imagine freedom and no physical pain, and never the feeling of sadness again.
