Fun Facts: He was a devout Catholic, he regularly volunteered at homeless shelters, he nearly died in the late 60's after he was shot three times by Valerie Solanas, the sole member of SCUM (Society for Cutting Up Men), and after his death in 1987, Sotheby's held an auction for his estate that lasted nine days and grossed over 20 million dollars.
